Job Overview

The eCommerce Director is responsible for the company's e-commerce and is responsible for ensuring online sales growth. He is also in charge of managing the P&L related to e-commerce. With the help of the Marketing Director, he will participate in the development of the company's digital marketing activities. This person will collaborate with design and marketing, retail, finance, operations, etc. to help achieve sales and brand development goals on the Internet. He must be a practical and pragmatic leader capable of producing results in a rapidly changing entrepreneurial environment.

what you gonna do

  • Align customer acquisition plans with P&L budget: CAC, ad spend, ROAS, revenue and new customer growth
  • Improve the user experience of the site in order to increase the conversion rate
  • Improve domain authority to increase our ranking on Google in relevant search terms
  • Develop and execute a strategy to drive online sales growth, while meeting current sales targets
  • Gain new customers profitably through marketing channels such as SEM/SEO, affiliate, display, influencers, direct mail, etc.
  • Develop, in collaboration with the Marketing and Digital Director, a strategy to improve the online shopping experience and its presence on the various web, mobile and social channels
  • Increase customer retention and “lifetime value” through effective use of customer analytics, CRM techniques, target marketing, etc.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design team to effectively showcase collections, generate excitement and demand for Hook, Bodyskin, Funzy, etc. products.
  • Collaborate with retail, sales and marketing teams to leverage traffic in physical stores (omnichannel) from a digital perspective

What we are looking for

  • 5-10 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing or other related experience.
  • Experience in building a successful and fast-growing e-commerce, preferably in a “Lifestyle” type brand.
  • Excellent command of online merchandising, user experience design and online best practices.
  • Analytical approach to management and decision-making, with a solid grasp of web analytics, digital performance marketing, customer segmentation and analysis, and testing/optimization techniques.
  • Ability to work across functions and within a leadership team to catalyze change in a positive, collaborative and transparent manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts and analysis up and down the organization to influence others.
